Partner Luíza Britto joined the 9th International Fashion Law Congress as a panelist, one of the leading events dedicated to Fashion Law and Intellectual Property in the fashion industry.
The congress brought together specialists, academics, and market professionals to discuss creativity, innovation, and legal protection of intangible assets in fashion.
Panel addressed overlap of rights in fashion
During the event, Luíza Britto spoke alongside Déborah Portilho and Camila Novis in a session titled: “Trademarks, Industrial Designs and Copyright - the (im)possibility of overlapping rights in fashion”.
The discussion explored one of the most relevant topics in Fashion Law: intersections among IP protection regimes and the legal boundaries for combining rights when protecting fashion creations.
