INPI published Normative Ordinance No. 57/2026, establishing the Institute's Innovation Management Policy, including the creation of an Innovation Management System and an Innovation Lab.
Last Friday, March 6th, INPI published a notice regarding Normative Ordinance No. 57/2026, which establishes the Institute's Innovation Management Policy.

The initiative marks another step in the Agency's modernization project, aiming to strengthen an organizational culture focused on creativity, experimentation, and continuous improvement of public services.
Among the measures envisioned is the creation of the Innovation Management System (SGI), which will include an Innovation Lab, collaboration networks, training programs, an Ideas Bank, and an Innovation Award. Governance of these initiatives will be the responsibility of the Internal Governance Committee, which will be tasked with prioritizing projects and monitoring results.
The new policy reinforces INPI's commitment to innovation within the public administration sphere, encouraging solutions that contribute to institutional efficiency and to the strengthening of Brazil's intellectual property ecosystem.
